Grafton had a ton of seniors in their front seven that helped them win the D3 State Championship in 205. They will be looking for those next men up and Cooper Ehr Cooper Ehr 6'1" | 200 lbs | LB Grafton | 2028 State WI looks like he could be one of the kids they turn to. The 6’1″ 200 lbs ILB showed plenty of instincts in the middle of the formation. He is constantly around the football and has a special ability to work through traffic without being held up. Cooper is a violent tackler and is able to balance between physicality and athleticism depending on the down and distance. This is a kid who could have a breakout year and launch himself further up these rankings.

Cooper suited up for the JV team in 2024 and played like a man among boys. At 6’1″ 200 lbs Cooper stood out from the crowd while running routes. It seemed like every play he went out for a pass Cooper was able to settle into a spot that the defense had neglected, showing a great sense of his awareness during the play. However, where he shines the most is at ILB. Cooper was really good in the middle of the field pursuing sideline to sideline and closing quickly. Ehr also did well battling through blocks and showed a strong pop running through OL on his blitzes. Grafton has a strong collection of LBs ahead of him for him to learn from. When his time comes I have high hopes for Cooper.
