is a great combination of running and passing ability as a quarterback. As a runner, he has good size (6’1″) and athleticism, as he is hard to tackle. He is good when the play breaks down, as he can make defenders miss. Then, as a passer, he is a natural thrower of the football. He throws with good anticipation. He is excellent at sitting in the pocket and throwing a good ball. His ability to read a defense and know where he wants to throw the ball is good. Smith has a chance to be a stock riser and move up this list, and I expect him to play even better next season.
