Gray was pivotal in Africentric’s success, and his play over the season earned him a 25-spot jump in our rankings. Gray uses his size very well, as he is a contested catch monster for the Nubians. With his ability to catch the ball deep down the field, he pairs it with a smooth short route release, where he can get open quickly for short scores. He is gifted athletically and does play wide receiver at times in the Africentric offense.

Gray is a tall, long wideout with good adjustment to the ball. While more of a possession receiver, he can still press the field vertically, get yards after the catch and run over defenders. At TE he has quick get-off and good downfield burst. He also contributes on defense as a linebacker. He totaled 40 catches for 864 yards and 11 touchdowns on offense, and 52 tackles, three sacks and three interceptions on defense this season.
