As the 2025 class continues to expand in terms of overall depth across the board, players are bound to “drop”. Selby has, yet my opinion of him has hardly changed. Selby’s five-minute sophomore tape shows he’s a viable option in the short/intermediate passing game. Good center of gravity allows him to start and stop well, leaving him open early in progressions. Gateway’s spread offense will have Selby working all over pre-snap, he’s such a trustworthy S/I route runner that I can’t help but see him as a safety blanket for Birch. He’s where he needs to be more often than not. 5’9, 165, unassuming in terms of build, as well as skills after the catch. Selby is a chain mover, as well as a kid who can get it done as a blocker outside the numbers. Viable DB at Gateway too, should be considered an ATH.
