Locklear popped up on the radar when we did our Johnston County Deep Dive. Cleveland had a veteran defense last year, but Locklear still cracked the defensive line rotation and played well. This year, he’s likely to take on a bigger role, and we think his skill set will expand with more opportunities.

Locklear is one of the few returning contributors on a senior-laden Cleveland defense. This season, he’ll be called upon as the primary pass-rusher for the Rams, and although he’s not the biggest guy, he can both push the pocket and win with speed and bend around the edge.
