Garcia committed to San Diego State in January but withdrew his commitment on Monday.
He is the third player from California in UNLV’s 2026 recruiting class and the first quarterback.

Live arm QB that has pulled in eight new offers this month. At 6’3” 195 lbs. the ball jumps out of his hand with great velocity and rotation. Natural arm strength allows him to push the ball vertically with touch or throw to the perimeter/boundary with zip. Excellent ball placement to his receivers, does a good job putting it in a spot where only his target can make a play on it. He’s confident in his ability and not afraid to take chances. Shows he can hang in the pocket allowing the play to develop while under pressure to deliver an accurate ball with a defender in his face. Demonstrates a good ability to mix up speeds and arm angles depending on the throwing lane and where defenders are. He’s been one of the fastest rising recruits in the state this offseason.
