Wilson was unstoppable for Jackson’s defensive front, ending the year with 110 total tackles (54 solo, 18 for loss), 7 sacks, 10 hurries, and even 2 INTs.

In my opinion, Wilson is one of the best run defenders in the state. Saraland will have to find a way to contain him up front.

It took one single play from Wilson’s tape for him to have a fan in me- he is an absolutely dominant force up front that can completely ruin an offensive line’s day. He gets off the line incredibly fast, has violent, quick hands, and completely overwhelms offensive linemen with his combination of speed and power. It’s insane how well Wilson takes on blockers- he commands so much attention up front and still finds ways to work into the backfield and make tackles for loss. After watching his tape, I think Wilson might be one of the best run defenders in the entire state- he is a complete game wrecker up front with tons of potential at the next level. Wilson was unstoppable up front for Jackson last season, ending his year with 81 total tackles (50 solo, 20 for loss), 4 sacks, 8 hurries, and one forced/recovered fumble. Wilson is a monster in the trenches, and teams at the next level have started taking notice- in the past few weeks, he’s picked up offers from Toledo, Troy, and plenty of others. With how well they played last season, Wilson and this Jackson team are going to be a must-watch program this fall- in the meantime take a look at Wilson’s film, there is so much to like with a prospect like this!

Demetrius Wilson Demetrius Wilson 6'3" | 290 lbs | DL Jackson | 2026 State AL is a super-talented defensive lineman that is transferring to Jackson this fall where he will be an immediate impact starter on their defense. Wilson typically lines up inside at defensive tackle but has the build and experience to make plays wherever on the defensive front. He does a terrific job against the run, with his size he’s able to eat up a ton of space and has the strength/power to move opposing offensive linemen with ease. Against the pass, Wilson does a great job generating pressure- he frequently causes chaos on the interior and makes it really difficult for quarterbacks to get the ball out. It’s really impressive watching him play, just over the last two years Wilson has shown he has some fantastic talents and potential that set him apart from others in his class. With that, Wilson has seen his recruitment open up a ton this spring/summer and has picked up offers from Tulane, UCF, and more over the last few months. Keep an eye on Wilson’s first year starting at Jackson, he has a ton of talent and will be a big contributor on their defensive front from week one onward!
