Benjamin had four interceptions that he returned for 208 yards including two pick-sixes. He also had a forced fumble and a fumble recovery.

He can play corner, nickel or safety and excels at all three. As a corner, he flips his hips well and has excellent closing speed breaking on the ball. Benjamin is physical and can run with anyone on deeper routes.

The Oregon signee also got praise from media members for his performances in practice during the week.

Oaks Christian defensive back Davon Benjamin Davon Benjamin Davon Benjamin 6'0" | 180 lbs | DB Oaks Christian | 2026 State CA announced his commitment to Oregon last Thursday.

Benjamin earned Prep Redzone All-Southern California Junior team honors and had six interceptions with two forced fumbles for Oaks Christian last year.

He chose Oregon over Washington, Texas and Michigan among others who also offered him. Benjamin is the sixth player from California in Oregon’s 2026 recruiting class and the fourth defensive back.
