He has announced official visits to Purdue and Tulane in June. Simpson also holds offers from Arizona State, Baylor, Mississippi State and Arkansas among others.

Oaks Christian tight end Colby Simpson Colby Simpson Colby Simpson 6'5" | 225 lbs | TE Oaks Christian | 2026 State CA announced his commitment to Utah last Sunday.

Simpson didn’t put up big numbers last year, but his metrics are off the charts and he has a lot of upside.

He chose Utah over Illinois, Louisville, Notre Dame and BYU among others. Simpson is the first player in Utah’s 2026 recruiting class.

He had a great showing at the Under Armour Next All-American Camp last month.

Simpson also has an offer from Colorado State.

Simpson performed well at the US Army Bowl combine a few weeks ago and he had a strong showing at the Under Armour Camp as well.

He has strong hands and made difficult catches in traffic. Simpson had one of the highlight reel catches of the day as well.
