One of my favorite new names in this 2028 class at the wide receiver position is one that we have featured on site during the state championsihps, but now that his sophomore tape is live, I feel the floodgates could open quick on David Walter David Walter 6'5" | 200 lbs | WR Freeman | 2028 SD of Freeman. The 6’5 200 pounder (!), is a dominate deep threat that I am pretty surprised is just a sophomore. He’s a springy route runnner for his size and has great deep ball hands that adjusts well on the fly to the throwing angle. He’s also a WR that in my mind if you are his WR, you know he’s “down there somewhere” and based on how David handles slightly higher traffic receptions downfield. He should be a top-tier wide receiver in this class once the 2028 South Dakota rankings come out soon.
