Thom-Rogers certainly showed out in what, unfortunately, turned out to be his final high school game. In a tough 34-27 loss to PCTI, Thom-Rogers set a career high in both receptions (8) and receiving yards (159). Thom-Rogers also found the endzone once in this one. In a convincing 42-7 victory on the road at Columbia, Montclair’s senior receiver Thom-Rogers had a huge impact on the game. Although he made 13 tackles in the victory at linebacker, he proved to be a game wrecker at receiver. Thom-Rogers caught 6 balls for 147 yards and 3 scores in the contest. Thom-Rogers and the Mounties turn around this week to actually host Columbia in the first round of the NJSIAA playoffs.

In what turned out to be a tremendous, edge-of-your-seat matchup, Thom-Rodgers was one of the biggest difference makers in a 24-21 Montclair win against West Orange. Thom-Rodgers was seemingly all over the field en route to 12 tackles in the contest. Beyond stopping the run, the senior made big plays when it mattered most. Adding to his stat line, Thom-Rodgers forced a fumble and intercepted two passes – one of which was returned for a score. Big time players make big time plays – that is who Thom-Rodgers is and what he does.
