I’m cheating a little here because I never actually scouted David, though I briefly coached David prior to the 2020 season.
Being in the same program as David, I understood the impact he had on the entire program. I’ll admit that Avondale was not and still is not an excellent high school football team, but David propelled what was probably a below-average team into a team that could make a run in the postseason. David had a ton of physical gifts. He was fast, physical, and could bounce off tackles.
David ended up committing to Indiana, where he saw action in 10 games, but never earned a start. Now, David is at Grand Valley State. Last season, David had 28 rushing attempts, 148 yards, and 1TD. Let’s see if David is able to make his mark in the GLIAC!
