About Darryn

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I can do it all that’s what I like to say I can run the ball catch the ball find space in traffic if I need to run through a guy I will. For linebacker I fill the whole good my play recognition is good and I have really good instinct when it comes to being on the field.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I have a strong mentality I believe im just as good as the guys ahead of me or even better I’ll prove that to anyone. I’m a quick learner I’ve been doing football for 7-8 years now maybe more and I’ve trained so hard to get where I am now. I played varsity as a freshman and so did my twin brother it was pretty surreal.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

No I have not

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I let my game do the talking I set example for others and if I have to get vocal I do.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I’ve had an acl surgery and meniscus surgery that was a major setback back but I powered through it.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking towards playing D1 college football.

Our RB2 in the class at #7 overall in this South Dakota 2029 class is one of two brothers that we will meet here which is Darryn Rhodes of Tea Area. Darryn is a running back that from what I have been able to see is a running back that has instincts that pop out of traffic and into the open field with his great vision for his age. I also feel Darryn might have some of the best hands in this running back class in the Dakotas that I’ve been able to evaluate so far. Tea Area is surely ones to watch for with these underclassmen classes as the Titans are very talented in their 2028 and 2029 classes.
