While sharing carries with  senior Kyle Nunn Kyle Nunn 5'7" | 170 lbs | RB Ft. Zumwalt East | 2023 State MO last season, Jones carried the ball 60 times for 457 yards and seven touchdowns. Jones has an incredible combination of speed and elusiveness as a ball carrier. Once the running lane opens, Jones bursts through it in a hurry and has the speed to keep running right past the defense untouched on his way to the end zone. He also has very impressive moves in the open field, including a nice spin move, to make defenders miss in the open field. Darius also has proven to be very dangerous in the passing game, catching 51 passes for 480 yards and three touchdowns this past season. Jones doesn’t currently hold any offers but has picked up some college interest and definitely has the talent to be a big-time playmaker at the next level.
