is a versatile two-way prospect whose size and athletic profile immediately stand out on film. At 6’4”, 225 pounds, he has the frame and physicality to develop into a dominant presence at both tight end and defensive end. Defensively, Evans shows the ability to be disruptive at the point of attack, using his length and strength to engage blockers and impact plays in the backfield. His stat line, including 59 total tackles and 3.0 sacks, reflects his consistent activity and production on defense. He plays with a high motor and demonstrates the ability to pursue the football, making plays across the field. Offensively, his size and catch radius create matchup problems, giving him the potential to be a reliable target in the passing game. Evans flashes strong fundamentals and physicality that translate well to both sides of the ball. As he continues to develop technically and physically, he projects as a high-upside prospect with the tools to contribute at multiple positions at the next level.

as a freshman was the most polished player i’ve watched in this group. I think his money to be made is at Tight End so we’ll start there, he’s violent he knows how to torque and twist defenders. When he’s inserting into gaps he clears the way without problems. He has athletic receiving upside to him as well and his hands in the passing game are refined and almost certain to make the grab when the ball goes his way. On the defensive side of things you see someone who bats a ball down what seems like every play, he has pure athletic ability that college coaches love to see when finding their next target. Evans is strong and filled out well with adequate size to be a defensive end or a tight end, and lucky for him he excels at both.
