Yebit made a significant jump up the recent ranking update and he’s right there in the mix as the state’s top cornerback prospect. Yebit is in a similar situation to some of the other DB prospects in this class. There were flashes of him being a special athlete early on in his career and then it was like someone poured gasoline all over an open flame. Yebit exploded in the last year and became one of the state’s top overall prospects. Last season, he produced at a very high level on offense and defense. He proved week in and week out against 6A-1 competition that he’s a top DB in the state. The athleticism he has is off the charts and he just continues to climb the 2027 ranks and joins Gillespie as a TCU commit in this class.

2027 athlete Daniel Yebit Daniel Yebit DB/WR Yukon | 2027 State OK comes into this season as one of the unquestioned best athletes in Class 6A-1. Earlier this offseason, he announced his commitment to TCU and has continued to climb the charts in the state’s 2027 rankings. Whether it’s on offense or defense, Yebit is a complete game changer. He’s considered a defensive back at the next level but it’s hard not to look at what he can do on the offensive side of the ball. There’s a chance that he ends up being one of the best wide receivers from a production standpoint in Class 6A-1 this season. There’s no doubt that the talent and overall athletic ability is there. Yebit will be fun to watch week in and week out this fall.

One player that we’re very excited to watch this season is junior Daniel Yebit Daniel Yebit DB/WR Yukon | 2027 State OK on both sides of the ball. It doesn’t matter if he’s lining up on offense or defense, Yebit is a 2027 prospect that is getting more and more attention as a legitimate college prospect. Yebit started turning heads this spring, not for what he was doing on the gridiron, but it was what he was doing on the track. To put it simply, Yebit is an athletic freak and if that athleticism translates even a little on the gridiron, he’s going to start turning a lot of heads on the football field this season. Right now, he has a very high ceiling.

Yukon athlete Daniel Yebit Daniel Yebit DB/WR Yukon | 2027 State OK is the highest ranked newcomer to the state’s 2027 rankings and ironically, he’s the only prospect on this breakdown that we haven’t seen in person. Everything we know about Yebit from an evaluation standpoint comes from film and seeing some unbelievable track results. Yukon is no stranger to producing outstanding athletic freaks that start making noise in track and eventually find opportunities in other sports. Yebit appears to be the next guy in that department. This spring, he got on the radar of several D1 coaches and the offers started to roll in. Now, there are a handful of prospects in the state’s 2027 class that we have very high on our list to see in person at some point this fall. Yebit is definitely one of them. We’re looking forward to seeing all that natural athleticism on the football field.
