WF West is a sneaky team to watch this season in the 2A class and it’s offensive line looked extremely solid in week 1. Matagi, senior offensive lineman caught my eye when watching film. Standing at 6’1” 280 pounds, he has a very solid body for the position. Playing the right guard position, he finished his blocks through the end and showed his ability to pull blocks over and keep his center of gravity solid. His foot work was good and he showed off his athleticism for his size as well. He performed well on defense too, getting to the QB often, collecting a sack on the night.
