How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
Strategic. I have great situational awareness and I’m always looking at behaviors of the opposing team. I pride myself at calling the opposing teams plays before they act.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I’m quiet bc I’m observant. I’m charismatic once I’m comfortable. I like to win and have fun on the field and off. I’m very laid back and I don’t rattle easily.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I participate in bass fishing club. I box in the off-season.
I’m always looking for volunteer or community service opportunities and quite frequently offer my time to local youth sports.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
I’m working on my leadership skills which can be challenging as a teenager at times. I like to lead by example with my behavior. I’m not trying to be the loudest, biggest or brightest star but I want to the best and perfect my craft. As an athlete and in general as a human being, I want to be known for being a hard worker, good guy and great team mate.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
Yes. My mother was diagnosed with breast cancer within 6 months of my father going to prison. I’ve had to step up and felt it was my duty to be the man of the house. I will give kudos to my mom, she is a tough cookie and I want to emulate her mental strength.
What type of college are you looking for?
A college that has a football program that invests in their players mentally & physically but specifically focused on lineman. Specials gets all the accolades and I feel lineman don’t get their “flowers” for doing a lot of the hard work. The hard work starts up front! I’m interested in colleges that have access to the outdoors bc I like hunting, shooting, fishing, four-wheeling, kayaking, etc.
