Jones picked up his first D-I offer from Southern Utah and an NAIA offer from Waldorf this month. Elko’s senior WR/DB has been one of northern Nevada’s most productive two-way players over the past two seasons and has already racked up 6 receiving TDs and 6 INTs through five games this season. Jones should continue to generate interest as one of the top playmakers in northern Nevada.

Jones caught 7 passes for 133 yards and 2 TDs on offense and broke a school record with his eleventh career interception in Elko’s 36-3 victory over Lowry. The senior WR/DB established himself as one of the best two-way players in northern Nevada last season and has continued to prove that status with 5 receiving TDs and 2 INTs through Elko’s first three games of the season. Jones brings an underrated combination of athleticism, ball skills, and playmaking ability to both sides of the ball.
