Cornelius was a fantastic 1-2 punch with Amachree. He brought a different dynamic to the offense with his physicality. He added a downhill presence and was punishing between the tackles. His physicality was clearly weari8ng down defenders and he was able to cap off a strong night with a key TD to tie things up heading into the 4th quarter. Here’s what I jotted down on his play on Friday:
-Physical runner that runs behind his pads. Big legs that he keeps churning through contact and falls forward for extra yardage.
-Set the tone with his ability to deliver the hits, punish defenders and wore them out throughout the night.
-Great complimentary back that provides a nice changeup. Thrives between the tackles and gives the offense a reliable option in short yardage situations.
