Edwards has been a two year varsity player for Seton Catholic, as a sophomore he took 174 carries for 1,020 yards and 9 touchdowns. 5’8” 195 lbs. he’s got a strong compact build and is a darting downhill runner. Shows good field vision and ball carrier instincts to work off his blocking angles and locate open running lanes. Plus balance as a runner and through contact, he’s able to cut through traffic while running behind his pads and maintaining leg drive to slip tacklers. Flashes good all around game speed with quick acceleration in the short area and the long speed to cap off extended runs in the end zone. Explosive in the return game as well.
