He’s just a load to deal with when the ball’s in his hands. He’s got a thick, strong lower half that keeps him upright through contact, and defenders usually bounce off or slide down him unless they come in with perfect form. He doesn’t need a huge runway to get going — he runs with natural balance and power, and he knows how to finish once he has the ball. He’s more than just his yards after the catch, though. He’s got enough bounce to go up and compete on jump balls, and when you combine that with how physical he already is, he’s a serious problem for DBs. Defensively, he carries over that same edge. He doesn’t shy away from contact, takes solid angles, and can plant and strike with authority. He was one of Lee Williams’ most dependable guys last year on both sides of the ball, and I’d expect that role to only grow this season.

, has a knack for getting turnovers for his team. He finished out his junior season with 23 total tackles, 10 of those as solo tackles, 2.5 TFLs, 8 INTs, 2 of those for pick sixs, and 2 fumble recoveries. He has exemplary ball skills that make you adjust to not throw the ball his way. He displays the instincts to anticipate the quarterback’s throw lane and the ability to jump it at just the right moment. His deep ball tracking is just as impressive as he goes up and snags those balls away from receivers downfield. Getting it down on both sides of the ball, look out for Cronk to light it up on the defensive side again this next season.

Cronk was a ball hawk and game changer for that Lee Williams defense, picking off 8 balls this past season. He sizes up with a stout, strong frame and build at 6’2″ 205lbs and possesses excellent strength at the point of contact and moves well within that frame. I was very impressed with his ability to disguise coverages and bait QB’s into throws- to then showcases a nice burst on the ball to frequently pick off of break up passes. His IQ and athleticism at the 4A level is better than most- and combine that with his athleticism- you’ve got yourself a scary player in 4A. He can man up on Slots, TE’s, and RB’s, disguise and sit in various zone coverages, and fly up to fill run- making himself a polished DB that deserves some attention ASAP.

is a physical receiver who’s carved out a nice role possession-style player in Lee Williams’ offense. While he may not always make the flashy catches along the sidelines, Cronk’s able to show his impressive body control when making catches in traffic. He does a great job of securing the ball and quickly setting himself up for moves after-the-catch. With 327 receiving yards and 1 touchdown this season, Cronk’s ability to absorb contact and still make plays makes him an invaluable asset for Lee Williams. As he continues to refine his skills, his combination of physicality and body control could really help a program at the next level.
