Based on the live eval last night, my eyes tell me Lyman quarterback Conway Collins Conway Collins 6'1" | 146 lbs | QB/DB Lyman | 2026 State SD has progressed forward this season at the quarterback position. He certainly showed off longer deep ball arm strength than I saw in my last live eval and showed it on one of his passing touchdowns at the end of the first half. Like I said a couple days ago already, the position flexibility that Conway has should enlighten college football programs in the Dakotas.

Conway was a name I heard from a handful of college coaches on Saturday as this young man flashed the athletic profile to open some doors at the next-level. They have to be intriguing from an upside perspective how much frame they can add to Conway’s 6’1 nearly 150 pound frame that put up some consistent testing numbers across the board popping out with a 9’0 broad jump and 4.53 in the pro agility which shows steady growth from our winter showcase and that looks the same across the board. I feel Conway has a lot of upside and position flexibility that got released during our showcase in Aberdeen and should start to gather more attention before we get into camp season. Twitter

Conway is one of the more balanced quarterbacks we have in attendance in regards to his touch throwing ability, which constantly with precision allows his wide receivers to get upfield quickly after the catch. Outside of the pocket, Conway in my eyes is a lot more instinctive than he he probably gets credit for, as this young man has sound intuition once he gets green grass in front of him to utilze his athleticism and picks up a sound burst quickly once he sees what he wants in the open field. Conway is one I will be watching that I feel can make a solid leap by his outing at our showcase in Aberdeen on Saturday.
