One of the more productive quarterbacks across the state right now, Langford had big shoes to fill this year as the Cambridge quarterback and he has filled them nicely. The impressive senior has been terrific so far this fall, throwing for 2,038 yards (1st among seniors) and 25 touchdowns. He’s safe with the ball but throws it accurately when throwing it vertically. He’s been a dependable passer all year long and is playing as well as any quarterback in his classification. He deserves a ton of recognition for the big senior season he’s having. If he continues to play at a high level you can expect the Bears to make a big playoff run this season.
From when I saw him in the spring to now, Langford has taken a massive step forward for Cambridge and is among the most efficient QBs in the state. He is protecting the ball as well, throwing 25 TDs against just 2 INTs. He is tapping into different trajectories to make different throws. He is hitting his receivers in stride, and doing so while being tough in the pocket and making subtle shifts with his base to give himself room to fire. Cambridge had a productive senior sleeper last year, and they have one against this year with Langford, who is outperforming most QBs in the state.
Basketball athlete. Shorter, but stout and uber-athletic QB prospect. Early years of production both as a passer and runner. Creative player who extends plays. Operates well on the move and off-platform. Explosive in the open field, has some juice as a runner. Flashes glimpses of beautiful touch. Gets the ball to turn over and drop into the pocket. Puts plenty of air under it. Compact release, spins it into tight areas. Will get a chance to throw the ball around the yard this year. Senior breakout candidate as a prospect.
An impressive 2026 quarterback coming off a big junior season for the Duluth Wildcats where he threw for 1,800 yards and 25 touchdowns, Langford should see his numbers increase in a big way as the Cambridge quarterback next season. He’ll play for an outstanding offense staff and will have several major weapons on the outside to throw the ball too. The Bears are loaded with talent which and employ a system that should lead to a giant senior season for Langford. He’ll bring starting experience and will be throwing to arguably the best wide receiver duo across the state. Look for him to put up some of the best numbers of any quarterback in the area in 2025.
