One of my favorite 2028 prospects coming out of McCook Central-Montrose is linebacker/running back Connor Heiberger Connor Heiberger 5'11" | 180 lbs | LB/RB Mccook Central | 2028 State SD . It doesn’t take long to draw the attention to the agility this kid boosts on both sides of the ball in the running game offensively and getting around blockers with that change of direction into solid pursuit angles at the point of attack as a linebacker. It’s hard to miss the physiclaity that Connor displays with his tackling ability as he’s a constant hard-hitter when he gets his hands on the ball carrier in the run game. He’s a hard-nosed blue collar athlete that I would love to see get opportunities to play on Saturdays in the coming years.
