<p class="text-gray-700">Westin is a linebacker that you will see shortly inside our 2028 South Dakota rankings out of Sioux Valley. The 6'0 185 pounder has great range that carries from sideline to sideline as one of the best 2028s the Cossacks offer in this class. He's intrigues me with his athleticism and shows off the physical tackling ability which comes to fruition when he's at the point of attack on first contact. He shows off a consistent motor that comes out on just about every play as Westin should be a prospect that plays on Saturdays out of this class.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">A newer name to my radar out of McCook Central-Montrose that has a good chance of coming from our watch list to our 2028 SD rankings is [player_tooltip player_id='1601669' first='Andrew' last='Sabers']. He's relatively raw with his throwing mechanics at the moment, but the tape shows that Andrew has the precision to get the ball downhill to his receivers inside and outside of tight windows. Another area that standouts with Andrew on tape, is his poise in the pocket as when the pocket starts to closes, he impressed me for his age with the quick release getting out of a jam. A recorder of his tape could increase his upside, as the deeper I got into his tape the more pop I saw with his arm strength on intermediate routes.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">One of my favorite 2028 prospects coming out of McCook Central-Montrose is linebacker/running back [player_tooltip player_id='2043591' first='Connor' last='Heiberger']. It doesn't take long to draw the attention to the agility this kid boosts on both sides of the ball in the running game offensively and getting around blockers with that change of direction into solid pursuit angles at the point of attack as a linebacker. It's hard to miss the physiclaity that Connor displays with his tackling ability as he's a constant hard-hitter when he gets his hands on the ball carrier in the run game. He's a hard-nosed blue collar athlete that I would love to see get opportunities to play on Saturdays in the coming years.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">A new name to my 2028 South Dakota radar which is another linebacker, is Hot Springs's [player_tooltip player_id='2159146' first='Von' last='Mogen Frankfort']. I've read about this young man on the wrestling mat this morning, but this is the first time I have gotten a look on tape and even though the tape is light, you can see the upside that this kid has on the gridiron. The 5'11 205 pounder passes the eye test almost right away, and impressed with his lateral movement he displays on tape. He shows off a linebacker that can get to the edges and make plays with his athleticism. Would love to see more tape come out from this young man!</p>

If you want to talk about violence at the point of attack, Addison brings a heck of a lot of it clip after clip from his sophomore tape. At last Spring's Prep Redzone Dakotas Showcase, from the numerous college coaches I talked to at all levels, just about all them that were evaluating offensive linemen had him as one of their first mentions as a freshmen. He's gotten more fluid with his footwork since then and is not one you want to meet as a pull blocker with the barrelling power he brings in space. He gets a D1 grade from me out of this 2028 class out of Class 11B.</p>
