Conlan sees his name on the rankings after a productive offseason. In his first high school offseason, Conlan was busy. He attended camps at Michigan State, Ferris State, and Western Michigan.

He’s got a live arm. Conlan sports a quick throwing motion, and he does a great job using his upper body to increase velocity. Offseason clips indicate better lower-body mechanics, but this aspect still isn’t perfect. In terms of accuracy, I haven’t seen enough of Conlan to accurately evaluate this aspect, but clips look solid.

Conlan earns a ranking because he’s undoubtedly ahead of the curve in this class. I expect him to be a great Varsity starter one day.

A very intriguing freshman QB from Caledonia. Like most of these Class of 2028 QBs, Conlan is a little undersized, a little raw mechanically, and isn’t always on-point with his accuracy. Though, Conlan stands out with his throw power.

Several points on tape where Conlan delivers great, quick strikes to his receiver. Plus, he’s athletic enough to be a great runner at the JV level. With just a little improvement, he can definitely be a great runner at the Varsity level.

Again, very unlikely Conlan will be QB1 this Fall, but 1000% a name to watch this offeason.
