About Colton

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Anticipatory passer with good arm strength, able to throw on the run at a high level and move the pocket at a high level. Know what the defense is doing before the snap comes. Always have a plan coming into the play. Great vision in reading holes as well.3

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Serious, lead by example, I am always locked in on making myself the best possible athlete I can be. I calm teammates down by keeping points in high pressure situations.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Varsity club at my high school.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed leadership on the field by calming my teammates down when something is going wrong, and I work to get along with my teammates and build chemistry.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Nothing life altering, but week 2 we lost to an opponent and I didn’t play as well as I wanted. Parents and the community were very upset with our coaches decision to leave me in. But I stayed in and had a record shattering season at Southern Lehigh. Being the 1st All State QB. Breaking single season touchdown and yards records.

What type of college are you looking for?

I just would like to play college football at a school that shares my same love for the game.

Colton Sams Colton Sams Colton Sams 6'0" | 170 lbs | QB Southern Lehigh | 2027 State PA has one of the quickest deliveries of football you see in the 2027 class. His ability to anticipate the open and then hit the receiver in stride is impressive. I like how he throws a deep ball when he anticipates an opening. If he sees a matchup he likes with an outside receiver, he will take one step and throw it outside. An impressive recognition and ability to throw the ball. Sams also has excellent footwork and mechanics. He has the skills of an outstanding quarterback.
