I’ll be honest- Collin is a major boom-or-bust prospect. For one, Collin sports incredible size and length, making him a very high-upside player on either side of the ball. On the flip side, his tape shows a very raw football player. Offensively, Collin needs to improve his all-around game. Last season, everything from his footwork to hands to aggression was very lackluster. Defensively, Collin needs to improve his effort, physicality, and overall athleticism. It’s an uphill battle, but I’ve seen players with his rawness and size turn out to be Division 1 MAC prospects after a few years of hard work. If Colin had a great offseason, he’s in a good position to take a step up. If he didn’t have a good offseason, well, he still has one offseason to make dramatic improvements.
