We see him line up on scrimmage and also cover #2 against trips. With a burst of speed, he is able to overset the pocket and work back to the quarterback, causing his internal clock to tick. I also thought that Schoellkopf was a very solid tackler who rallies to the ball very well. In coverage Schoellkopf reads patterns in front of him and reacts appropriately, particularly when defending the short game as he keeps his eyes glued to the quarterback.
