Colin was impressive to me in this game, but not for the reasons you may think when discussing a quarterback. The Tigers’ offense is a modified Wing-T from the shotgun, and that requires the ability to carry out a number of fakes and handoffs on every play. Colin did this very well, and as a result of a heavy run game in the first half, it opened up the play-action passing game in the 2nd half where the Tigers hit some big plays to get on the scoreboard. Colin’s accuracy on those throws was excellent as well. He played a very good game overall.
