Hellems is a raw quarterback which makes him even more intriguing once he irons out his mechanics and further develops as a passer. He’s your classic pocket passer who can take off and run when necessary but operates better behind the line of scrimmage. Hellems does a nice job taking what the defense gives him which is a testament to his low turnover rate and higher completion percentage for a high school sophomore. His best football is ahead of him, and Hellems could rise in the rankings in the next two seasons as he continues developing.
