Welliver had a monster season in 2023 for Liberty Christian. The 6’6 signal caller has the arm talent to spray the entire route tree to make all the throws, he has superb field vision and he has the skill set to drive the football to all areas of the field. Cole threw for nearly 2,400 yards in the regular season, with a 72% completion rate and 39 touchdowns for a district championship team that went on to win a state championship. Cole signed with UConn during the early signing period.
