The Grafton passing game never really got going in 2025, but WR/DB Cole Runner Cole Runner 5'6" | 160 lbs | WR Grafton | 2026 State WV is someone for small colleges to check out. His defensive production was clear as the leading tackler on the team as a DB/OLB for the Bearcats, and he could play on that side of the ball in college as well. As a smaller slot receiver, Runner shows playmaking ability with the ball in his hands and is deserving of some college looks.

Grafton’s leading receiver this season is 2026 ATH Cole Runner Cole Runner 5'6" | 160 lbs | WR Grafton | 2026 State WV , who is also very capable in the running game. In 7 games, Runner has over 500 all-purpose yards for the Bearcats and is the leading tackler on defense. He’s a smaller athlete but is quick and shifty with the ball in his hands and a tough tackle in the open field. You can get creative with how you get the ball in Runner’s hands, with good things likely to happen when you do. Runner can consistently make defenders miss in space and is a danger after the catch as a receiver. D3 programs should be targeting him over the next few months.
