Cole Rose Cole Rose 6'4" | 245 lbs | DL/TE George Rogers Clark | 2026 State KY is another defensive lineman who has continued to impress over the past few seasons . He lines up at defensive end where he is dominant against the run. Rose is very explosive out of his stance, using his speed to blow by opposing offensive linemen to shoot into the backfield before they can block him. Once he gets to the ball carrier, he does a great job of finishing his tackles quickly. Cole finished this past season with 82 tackles and 17 tackles for loss in 12 games. He also finished the year with two sacks. Rose currently holds offers from Army,Air Force, Eastern Kentucky, Penn, and Columbia, and I expect more to come his way heading into his senior season.

Cole Rose Cole Rose 6'4" | 245 lbs | DL/TE George Rogers Clark | 2026 State KY continued to show that he is one of the top defensive linemen in the state in his class after transferring to GRC for his junior year. He lined up at defensive end where he was very impressive against the run. Cole explodes out of his stance and uses his speed to burst into the backfield and make the tackle before opposing offensive linemen have a chance to block him. He finished his junior year with 82 tackles and 17 tackles for loss in 12 games. Cole also finished the season with two sacks. Rose doesn’t currently hold any offers but I expect some to come his way heading into his senior year as he has already received some college interest.

In the first place spot on my list is Cole Rose Cole Rose 6'4" | 245 lbs | DL/TE George Rogers Clark | 2026 State KY , a defensive lineman at George Rogers Clark High School. What impresses me about Rose is his ability to breach the offensive line, apply pressure on the quarterback and his ability to shut down the run game. I also like how Rose can quickly blast past the offensive line to contest the deep pass.

Cole Rose Cole Rose 6'4" | 245 lbs | DL/TE George Rogers Clark | 2026 State KY continued to establish himself as the top defensive lineman in the state in his class this past season. He lined up at defensive end where he had a strong sophomore year for Montgomery County. Rose is able to use his speed and high motor to blow by opposing offensive tackles to get to the quarterback. He finished this past season with 8.5 sacks in 10 games. Rose also showed the ability to stop the run, finishing the season with 81 tackles and 14 tackles for loss. He also caught one touchdown pass on offense. Cole doesn’t currently hold any offers and recently transferred to George Rogers Clark where I expect a lot of eyes to be on him next season.

I am additionally impressed with Cole Rose Cole Rose 6'4" | 245 lbs | DL/TE George Rogers Clark | 2026 State KY , a defensive lineman at George Rogers Clark High School. What stands out about Rose is his quick execution at the line of scrimmage as well as his ability to both apply pressure and sack the quarterback. I also like Rose’s ability to consistently disrupt offensive production on the ground, using his quickness to catch the rush in the pocket and from along the edge.

Cole Rose Cole Rose 6'4" | 245 lbs | DL/TE George Rogers Clark | 2026 State KY is a young defensive lineman that jumped onto my radar this season. He lines up at defensive end where he has been very impressive against the run. Cole does a great job of stacking blocks and reading the play then shedding them quickly once he sees where the ball is going. He uses his speed to get to the ball carrier in a hurry and is a very reliable tackler in the open field once he gets there. Rose finished the regular season with 81 tackles and 14 tackles for loss. He has also shown the ability to use his speed to his advantage off the edge as a pass rusher, finishing the regular season with 8.5 sacks. Cole doesn’t currently hold any offers but he is a player that college coaches should definitely keep an eye on heading into his final two seasons of high school football.

Cole Rose Cole Rose 6'4" | 245 lbs | DL/TE George Rogers Clark | 2026 State KY is a player that stood out as a freshman and established himself as the top player at his position in the 2026 class. In his first year of high school football, Rose finished with 65 tackles, 12 tackles for loss, and 4.5 sacks. Rose is a force against the run, showing the ability to read the play and shed blocks quickly to get to the ball carrier. Once he gets to the ball carrier, he is a very reliable tackler in the open field. As a pass rusher, Rose has shown the ability to use his speed off the edge to blow by opposing offensive tackles on his way to the quarterback. Through the first two games of the 2023 season, Rose currently has seven tackles, four tackles for loss, and three sacks. Rose doesn’t currently hold any offers but is definitely a player to keep an eye on over the next few seasons.
