A run-stopping safety with great closing speed, Cody Haddad Cody Haddad 6'0" | 175 lbs | DB Saint Ignatius | 2025 State OH is an elite tackler already to contain running backs. Haddad has the most amount of space to read a play, but has the most ground to cover to stop a play and still does with quick footwork to burst towards a play by taking the best angle possible to attack. Once he is in the range of a ball carrier, Haddad hits like a linebacker, but also has the finesse to trip up players. He is an absolute beast at finding different ways to bring down ball carriers. Haddad is a special teams menace and can flip field position if teams don’t respect his game. He gets reps in on offense as a wide receiver and uses his speed and quickness in open space to get the ball upfield. Since last season, Haddad has had power five attention from schools like Oklahoma and most recently Wisconsin with a few schools between. Haddad is one of the most exciting defensive prospects in the state no matter the class and still has two seasons of high school football still to go.
