Harris still continues to improve and dominate week in and week out. He’s had his best season yet and put together another elite performance. With his speed and vision, he’s as dangerous as anyone in the state. With 167 yards and 3TDs on the ground Friday, it was enough to help Brebeuf win in overtime.

Along with quarterback Maverick Geske Maverick Geske Maverick Geske 6'0" | 195 lbs | QB Brebeuf Jesuit | 2025 State IN ‘s big video game numbers (25-for-37 for 396 yards), running back C.J. Harris – also a key, underrated playmaker on the Braves’ offense – had 171 yards on just 19 carries. He also backed it up with three touchdowns in the Braves’ 49-34 victory over Terre Haute North.

We covered Harris on Monday after he put up a 300+ rushing-yard performance, but that was just 1 game. He’s been dominant all year long and that’s why he’s here. He’s had multiple 200+ yard games and because of that, he’s one of the state’s leading rushers. He’s dynamic, smart, has great vision, and is as consistent as they come as a young HS back. With 1302 yards and 15 TDs on the season as of now, it’s a good start for Harris and hopefully, he can wrap up the season the way he started.

Harris took part in Brebeuf Jesuit’s massive offensive performance by carrying the load on the ground. Ripping off big run after big run it was obvious why they handed him the rock. His vision is fantastic and he’s got great speed. Harris rushed for 318 yards and 4 TDs on the night as he led the Braves on the ground. After Friday’s game, Harris has already surpassed his career high with 1302 yards and 15 rushing TDs.
