Pugh plays bigger than his size. He has good instincts, knows how to play with leverage, and doesn’t shy away from being physical. On a few run plays, he takeson bigger blockers while maintaining outside leverage. Pugh is able to overcome being undersized with his speed and technique. He’s not going to knock over too many people, but he takes great angles to make sure tackles. I would like to see if he’s gotten any bigger since the end of last season. His highlights are a mix of varsity and junior varsity plays. I’ll be checking back after the season.
