Rhodes put together his most productive performance of the early season in Sloan Canyon’s 33-27 win over SAL on Friday. The senior wideout caught 11 passes for 167 yards and 2 TDs, giving him 6 TDs through the first three games. He showed his playmaking ability after the catch turning several short-intermediate catches into explosive gains and worked the sidelines as a perimeter threat extremely well with his awareness and body control. Rhodes’ stock is on the rise early into his senior season.

Rhodes continues to show promising growth and development both physically and skillwise since breaking out as a sophomore with 34 catches for 450+ yards and 10 TDs for the 2A state champs. He’s looked bigger, faster, stronger, and improved as a route-runner at recent offseason events. He’s shown the foot quickness to change speeds to create separation and a combination of strong hands and body control allow him to extend and haul in passes outside his framework. Rhodes should be considered one of the top playmakers to watch in Nevada’s 2A division next season.
