Pierce is a 6’0 215 lbs linebacker who caused havoc last year in his sophomore season. He tallied 100 tackles last year, seeing time on both the inside and outside. Pierce brings it on every tackle, showcasing the ability to hit open windows with quickness, get downhill, and drive ball carriers backwards at the point on contact. He is extremely fluid when pass dropping as well, shutting down the middle of the field with his length and speed. Pierce currently holds offers from several Power 5 programs, including Ohio State, Illinois, Northwestern, Missouri to name a few. Come Friday, Pierce is sure to make plays all over the field.

A surefire top player in the state, Brother Rice’s 6′, 215 lb. linebacker Christian Pierce Christian Pierce 6'0" | 215 lbs | LB Brother Rice | 2025 State IL is the younger brother of 2023 Michigan DT signee Trey Pierce and is already a strong, experienced, and highly-touted prep player with an impressive list of offers that has most recently included Ohio State, Louisville, Boston College, Purdue, Mizzou, Arizona State, and Wisconsin. The rising junior recently posted a 275 lb. hang clean in early April after a strong sophomore campaign on the gridiron in the fall of 2022. In addition to his many dominant traits on the field, Pierce is also one of the 2025 classes hardest hitters, and posted 100 tackles, 3 PBUs, and a safety last season. He topples ball carriers over and flat onto their backs when he makes contact, and is more than strong enough to tackle even bigger RBs and WRs high and in grown man fashion. Pierce can completely reverse an opponents momentum in imposing fashion and creates noticeable whiplash when he puts his pads on an offensive player, whether they have the ball or are trying to block him. Scary enough for opposing teams and players, he’s only getting stronger too. Bigger hits are coming in 2023!

Christian Pierce Christian Pierce 6'0" | 215 lbs | LB Brother Rice | 2025 State IL is a standout linebacker playing in the heart of Brother Rice’s defense. Standing at 6 feet tall, Pierce has a solid size and uses it very well. Christian moves laterally very well and can meet the ball carrier on the edge with ease. Christian is also strong in defending between the tackles. If there is an inside run, to his side or not, Christain is going to drive down and make a play at the line of scrimmage. In pass coverage, Christian is very patient and does a good job of tracking eyes in the middle of the field and making a play on the pass. Overall, Christain showed a lot of upside potential throughout his sophomore-year campaign. With a big offseason ahead of him, I wouldn’t be surprised if Christain has a breakout season for the Crusader defense in this upcoming season.
