The 6’3″ 195 lbs weapon put together a great night vs Catholic Memorial in a huge win for the Hilltoppers. The highlights start with a glimpse into the physicality that Christian brings to the WR position, turning quick grabs into solid chunks thanks to his ability to run through DBs and move the pile like an RB. The offense focused on getting Miller the ball quickly and leaning on his ability to pick up chunks with his burst and speed then finishing plays with tone setting violence. The long TD started on a blown coverage and ended with more punishing running after the catch from the senior WR. Christian is a need-to-know prospect in the Class of 2027 and his Week 5 tape is a great example of his best traits.

Marquette didn’t have a ton of success through the air, but I can’t talk about top recruits in this game and not mention who I believe to be the top WR in the game. Christian has the long frame and matching large catch radius. He was able to make an impact in the short passing game, showing that he can get quick releases, find soft spots, and settle in while giving his QB an easy target. After the catch the big man does run tough for yards after the catch and after contact. Don’t overlook this kid.

Only one WR with more receptions that Christian will be back on the roster in 2025. That sets the stage for the impressive WR to win a starting job on Friday nights and start to show off the talent he is developing this offseason. The bigger bodied WR flashes the big play ability in his sophomore tape. You will see the ability to adjust last second and reel in passes at awkward body angles. Along with the strong hands through contact. The 6’3″ 185 lbs WR is also well advanced in his route running, so expect to see him dominate with that ability come this fall. Big things ahead and a very high ceiling for Christian.

The 6’3″ 185 lbs sophomore was a varsity contributor thanks to his already well developed skillset. Miller does a great job of using his body to his advantage. Whether it is high pointing the ball, boxing out a DB, or using his impressive ability to adjust last second, Christian finds ways to protect the ball and secure the catch. The bigger receiver also does really well with his route running. He is able to stay under control and goes into his breaks with speed, giving DBs a hard time to try and react in time. The basketball background also shines through on the football field in several areas of his game. Christian is another athlete in this Class to keep watch over.
