Barnard balled out throughout the combine. He was 19^th for the 40-yard dash, 17^th L-drill, 22^nd broad jump, and an impressive 4^th pro shuttle (23^rd nationally). Barnard has very good athletic ability due to very good acceleration, change of direction, jumping, and speed. Quick twitch ability. During both the L-drill and pro shuttle were examples of that. Thrived during the ladder tennis ball drill. Fluid controlled footwork with very good concentration. Killed it during the 7 on 7 period. Very good jam at the line of scrimmage. Fluid hips to match WR as they break into their route. Stuck the receiver like glue. Very good read and reaction speed. Very good closing quickness. Barnard is a great young DB who made a statement this showcase.
