Walters had an okay freshman year getting on the field and rotating in. Year 2 he came out and made a big jump. He became a full-time starter for their defense and quickly earned his stripes. He had 27 tackles last year and came out and put up 78 tackles, 2 TFLs, 1 sack, and forced a fumble in year 2. I like Walters ability to find the ball and make the simple play.

Walters is an impressive-looking young linebacker who is well-built and highly productive. He’s able to play in the box and help enforce the run as well as drop back and help cover tight ends and the middle of the field. He’s got a good sense of timing on the field and can fight through blocks to get to the ball. Walters has 50 tackles, 4 hurries, 1 sack, and a forced fumble on his breakout season as of now but those numbers will continue to climb.
