Overman is a SS/RB measuring in at 6’2 180-pounds. Great size with lengthy arms. Overman has good athletic ability due to very good stamina, good acceleration, change of direction, and speed. He’s smooth and elusive when running the ball. Good vision too. As a defensive back, he does a good job at jamming and re-routing the wideout. Good back pedal and sticks to the WR. Overman stays stride for stride with the wideout and will use his lengthy arms to create pass deflections. Good read and reaction speed. Overman has shown to provide run support and assist with tackling. With an off-season refining his technique, he’s a prime breakout candidate.

Overman stood out with his size, smooth movement and overall coverage ability. His footwork was clean and controlled, allowing him to mirror receivers effectively while maintaining balance throughout routes. Overman used his length to his advantage, getting his hands on receivers early and disrupting their releases. In coverage, he showed the ability to stay connected and blanket opposing targets, limiting opportunities for completions. His physical presence and confidence were evident, particularly when competing at the catch point. Overman’s combination of length, technique and composure showed why he is a defensive back with strong upside.

Overman is quietly building momentum as a small school running back with big time potential. He has a quick burst, making jump cuts and sticking his foot in the ground to explode through the hole. Overman doesn’t go down easily, he’s slippery in space and has the balance to stay upright through contact. He’s also a strong pass catcher out of the backfield, with soft hands and the ability to come down with difficult catches in traffic. Already making noise on the camp circuit, Overman has the traits to become a workhorse back. With his skill set and work ethic, he’s on track to be one of the top risers in his class.
