He’s shown the ability to create offense and make plays, while the seven interceptions point to an area he’ll need to clean up moving forward. With his multi-sport athletic ability and production, Chase is a quarterback whose development will be worth following.

Chase is one of the more underrated quarterbacks heading into the season, and his play style makes him an intriguing player to watch. He does a good job moving around in the pocket, keeping his eyes downfield and extending plays when his first option isn’t there. He can make throws on the move, attack different areas of the field and use his athleticism to pick up yards when the defense gives him an opening. Chase plays with a creative style that allows him to turn broken plays into big gains, and a strong season could put him firmly on the radar. Chase opens up against Alamo Heights.
