Garnett is a powerful runner who has the ability to shift gears and explode for big plays when he gets to the second level. He is the complete package of speed, power, elite quickness and he is a home run threat at the running back position. Garnett had a record breaking junior season. He broke the single season rushing touchdown record at Liberty Christian by scoring 29 times in 2023. He had over 1,800 yards from scrimmage while helping Liberty Christian win a state championship. Chase was selected 1st Team All-District and he was voted as the District MVP. Garnett had double digit offers from schools such as, Sam Houston State, Tulsa, Minnesota and Boise State. He recently committed to South Florida. He is one of the top returning rushers in the DFW area and the state of Texas.

Garnett had an excellent showing at the Flex Zone 1v1s and his MVP performance put everyone on notice that he is one of top running in the class of 2025 in the DFW Area. Chase’s ability to make quick cuts was on full display during the agility drills, his footwork was superb and he showed off his nimble, quick feet. Chase was impressive in the passing one vs one drills, he has excellent late hands, he has the ability to adjust his body to make difficult receptions and on several catches he tracked the ball over the shoulder well. Garnett’s burst combined with his elusiveness, make him a handful to deal with in the open field. I fully expect Garnett to carry the load at Liberty Christian in 2023.
