Knapp held his own on that TXPS Retreat, making several big throws during the 1 on 1 portion of the camp for completion. He has a quick release that enables him to fit the football into small coverage windows. His mechanics are polished and this allows him to be in rhythm and on time frequently. Knapp heads into his freshman season as one the class of 2028 passers in the state of Texas to keep an eye on.

Knapp has a lean, athletic build, he has the arm talent to make every throw on the route tree and his ability to be accurate are traits that stuck out in his game at the showcase. Jaxon ran well, posting excellent numbers in the combine testing, showing good speed and the ability to change directions quickly. Knapp throws well on the run, he has a quick release with the arm strength to push the ball outside the numbers on a rope, his footwork is clean and he was on the money on his throws throughout the day. During the 1v1s against the defense, Knapp worked the short to intermediate zones well, hitting his targets in stride and he had great touch on his deep ball. After watching his tape from the fall, Knapp not only can make big throws but he has the athleticism to be a threat in the run game, with the speed to make a house call for six. Keep an eye Knapp, who has the chance to see some playing time under center at All Saints in 2024.

is signal caller that college coaches should start to take a look at, in my opinion. Knapp is reclassed prospect that is starting to scratch the surface of how good he could potentially become. Previously was at Cross Timbers Middle School where he was a member of a 4×100 team on the tack, which broke a 20-year school record. Listed at 6-foot and 155 pounds (unverified), he’s an exciting dual-threat kid that looks to be the king of improv when plays break down around him. He’s an athletic kid has impressive feet in the pocket, and the athleticism to hurdle would-be tacklers when running out of it. His older brother Dalton Knapp is a 6-foot-5, 2025 Edge prospect who recently picked up his first offer from Texas State. Ability and genetics are a great combination.
