“Hofbauer is an intelligent playmaker with the ball who can use his arms and legs to keep defenses on their toes every snap. He’s quick to process, throws with good accuracy, and consistently gets the ball out quickly to his playmakers outside.
Hofbauer is just as difficult to stop when he’s on the move. He’s quick, elusive, and has impressive open field speed and contact balance he uses to carve up defenses for big gains on the ground. It’s really tough to stop Hofbauer; his scrambling ability opens up so much of Mountain Brook’s rushing attack.”
Hofbauer was unstoppable against Fort Payne, completing 6/8 attempts for 96 yards and one TD through the air, with another 12 carries for 192 yards and 2 TDs on the ground.
