The Cardinals’ athlete runs solid routes and effectively comes out of his cuts. He doesn’t let the ball get into his body. He gets his hands out in front and attacks the ball. Like most athletes at smaller schools, Sweeney plays both ways and doubles as a physical corner or outside linebacker.
