One thing a lot of these potential breakout athletes have in common is that they went off in the limited opportunities they were given in 2025. Carter continues that streak with his 8 carries that went for an insane 174 yards and 3 TDs. Carter is 2nd on the team in returning rushing production at the RB position. He is a patient runner who does really well reading the blocks of his OL, and then bursting through into the secondary. Carter runs with a well balanced blend of speed and physicality, allowing him to find success inside and outside. I’m excited to see him take on a larger role and wear down defenses.

Carter got just a taste of varsity action last season but it was a highlight-riddled glimpse. The 6′ 180 lbs RB is building a frame that can support a large workload, but also holds onto its speed and agility. Carter plays with vision that will get him early success. His ability to find even a sliver of daylight and attack it with speed and no hesitation is going to put him in great position to make plays over and over. He is a slippery runner too. Arm tackles seem to brush right off of him while running between the tackles. It is natural strength and balance and once the kid hits that open field you can trust him to win some races to the endzone. I’m chomping at the bit to see Carter take on a larger Friday night role.
